Yes — it’s 100% free and we plan for it to stay that way. There are no ads, subscriptions, or account requirements. Donations are accepted to help support internal costs.
CantoBible currently includes Bible translations in:
- Traditional Chinese (CUV)
- English (WEB & KJV)
- Cantonese Romanization (Yale & Jyutping)
- Mandarin (CUVS)
- Tagalog (Ang Dating Biblia)
- Spanish (Reina Valera 1909)
- Bahasa Indonesia (Alkitab Gereja Sahabat)
We hope to add more over time. We only use Bible versions available in the public domain, which limits how many we are able to freely include in the app. Note that many of the core menus/functions of the app are currently only available in English.
We use only public domain and open-source Bible translations to keep the app free and globally accessible. That’s why some popular versions (like NIV or NLT) aren’t available.
Not yet — CantoBible is currently in beta. There may be bugs, glitches, or missing content. But we’re sharing it now so you can start benefiting from it and help us improve. We hope our users will share constructive feedback with us as they use the app.
